Cellists of Otago directed by Heleen du Plessis, will present a delightful blend of cherished classics and enchanting melodies for cello ensemble and soprano voice. It includes Villa-Lobos' magnificent Bachianas Brasilieras no. 5 and traditional New Zealand songs like Hine e Hine. Joining the very popular cello ensemble is renowned soprano Rebecca Ryan. Cellists of Otago will be extended in some works for mass cello ensemble by players from Dunedin and the region
